Composer and Producer Yalil Guerra is now producing and arranging two songs for the upcoming workout DVD/CD called ‘Tinva”. This great project incorporates a DVD and a CD with all the music.

About Tin-va:

La Tin-va is a new expression of Latin rhythm and dance!  Johnny V., a professional dancer and fitness instructor, has developed a revolutionary style of enjoying up-beat, energetic and inspirational Latin music with a fun, exciting and freestyle cardio dance workout.  The worldwide release of his first instructional DVD will be coming in Winter 2007.   Have fun, feel great, lose weight and dance the stress away!
Executive Producer is Ann Alliegro, enthusiastic and entrepreneur business woman and president of Tin-va LLC.

Juliana Muñoz composed a few songs and shares the creation of two titles with Yalil Guerra. The song styles are Cha cha cha, the arrangements are mixed with pop, aggressive percussion and a refreshing brass section arrangements. One song is in English, performed by Juliana itself, while the other tune is performed by Juan Pablo Castillo, a young singer with a lot of talent, and voice too, son of Ileana Rodriguez (LA based Costa Rican singer).

MARY ESCAMILLA project

Mexican born composer and business woman Mari Escamilla, ordered the production of the song “Tú me enseñastes” to the producer and composer Yalil Guerra. 

“Tú me enseñastes” is a romantic song that have been arranged to an old fashion Son Montuno style. The instrumentation is Cuban Tres, two Acoustic Guitars, Electric Bass, Choirs and Lead vocal (performed by Yalil Guerra) and Congas, Timbales, Bongó, Güiro, Maracas, performed by Joey de León Jr.

ESCANDALO TV TELEFUTURA music theme

The successful TV show “Escándalo TV” is opening a new home set this year and we’re proud to be a part of this New Year change. This is the show’s 5th Anniversary, and feel privileged to be responsible for the musical part. The event will be broadcasted on Telefutura this January 22nd, 2007.

Working together with the Univision musical department, we’ve managed to arrange and co-compose the musical theme for the show. Yalil Guerra was in charge of the creative process; adding spice and Brazilian musical motives to the theme, as well as

Tropical, Regueaton & Pop elements.

MUSICA CAMERATA MONTREAL includes Guerra’s “Suite cubana” in their repertoire

The “Suite Cubana” composed by Yalil Guerra is being included in the repertoire of the Musica Camerata of Montreal, Canada. The Suite instrumentation is String Quartet and Piano, and compiles several pieces with a Cuban roots and classical influence.

Mr. Guerra, graduated in Classical Guitar at the National School of Music (Havana, Cuba), and the Master Degree in Classical Guitar and Counterpoint and Fugue, at the Royal Conservatory of Music “Queen Sofía” 
(Madrid, Spain).

The first piece of the Suite is called “Aire de Son”, influenced by the Son Montuno rhythm, progressive and comtemporary harmonies that makes this piece a work or study. The Second is called “Aire de Cha cha cha”, inspired by this Cuban standard and famous rhythm. Yalil created a classical piece with the flavor of  Cha cha cha performed by Cuban Charangas, back in the fifties and forties.
